"Aida" returns to the Chicago stage at Lyric Opera

The classic opera "Aida" is back in Chicago and on stage at the Lyric Opera starting on Saturday. Created by Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi, "Aida" is the story of an Ethiopian princess held captive during a war with Egypt. She falls in love with a general who has conquered her people, and is faced with an impossible choice: love or loyalty.
