The boy, 14, was standing in the 2400 block of North Kilbourn about 9:30 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain, police said. He was shot in the arm.
The 22-year-old got into an argument with a "known offender" outside in the 7800 block of South Bennett about 9:15 p.m.
