The Lake County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating the deaths of a man and woman in their 20s who were discovered Wednesday with gunshot wounds in an apartment in north suburban Fox Lake.
The 31-year-old man was driving in the 5200 block of West Waveland about 1 a.m. when a blue SUV pulled up alongside and someone inside fired shots, police said.
About 8:30 p.m., the man was shot in the foot in the 2300 block of West Adams Street, police said. He is an adult, but his exact age is not yet known, authorities said.
