The most recent fatal shooting occurred Sunday afternoon in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. A 14-year-old boy was in the 1100 block of North Leclaire at 2:52 p.m. when two males approached him, and one of the males shot the boy.
About 9 p.m., two males were shooting at each other in the 900 block of East 80th Street, police said. One of the males and two other people — a male and female — were shot.
