Shots were fired in the 2000 block of Ezekiel Avenue in Zion about 8 a.m., Lake County sheriff's Det. Chris Covelli said. He could not immediately confirm if anyone was injured in the shooting. Covelli could not say whether the shots were fired by officers or suspects.
