Deandre Binion was ordered held in jail without bond for allegedly wounding a 22-month-old child in a shooting on Lake Shore Drive.
A man wanted in the shooting that killed 7-year-old Jaslyn Adams on the city's West Side this past weekend was shot and wounded by Chicago Police on the Eisenhower Expressway following a pursuit Thursday afternoon, police said.
Police said Deandre Binion is charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery. He is due to appear in bond court on Friday.
Chicago police are investigating two fatal shooting incidents that took place about a mile from each other.
The group will meet outside the Pilsen Law Center at 10:30 a.m. to call for an outside investigation.
