A new mural at the Old Town School of Folk Music pays tribute to iconic late Chicago folk musician John Prine.
Renowned singer-songwriter and Chicago-area native John Prine will be honored with a mural at the Old Town School of Folk Music in the Lincoln Square community.
A lineup of singers will perform Prine’s songs backed by his band. Proceeds from the tribute concert will go to charity.
His big break happened when he was playing at a club in Lincoln Park when famed movie critic Roger Ebert walked in.
John Prine often told stories in his songs, but now it's his story being told in a new book. CBS 2's Jim Williams talked with the book's editor.
