The 3-year-old giraffe was spotted Friday morning about four miles south of the ranch where she lives.
A family trip to a drive-thru safari in Texas took a scary turn when a giraffe grabbed a little girl and liffted her into the air.
Following introductions to the outdoor habitat and the other giraffes in the herd, those hours will be extended in the coming weeks.
The median life expectancy for female giraffes is 20.2 years, the zoo noted.
