The last time the Bears played the Lions, the following day was met with anger, confusion and a sense of frustration.
In the wake of the victory, Bears lineman Chris Williams was taken from the game with a hand injury, ultimately having emergency surgery during the second half. With rookie tackle Gabe Carimi also undergoing knee surgery earlier in the week, the Bears offensive line is at a point where it can't afford any more injuries moving forward.

Bears Coach Lovie Smith said Monday morning that the Detroit Lions' Matthew Stafford should have been ejected along with D.J. Moore during a rough play, but the real story is the Bears' strong playing that led to victory.
