Carlos Boozer's sprained ankle is improving but likely is a few days away from returning.
Carlos Boozer will not play tonight vs. the Atlanta Hawks. Boozer continues to get treatment on his injured sprained ankle and though the swelling has gone down he is not ready to get back on the court.
Carlos Boozer is officially being listed as day to day but the likelihood is that he will miss a couple of games (or more). Boozer had an MRI and it confirmed that the ankle is indeed sprained and the key will be how quick the swelling goes down.
Obviously, it's still plenty early and no one has even played a game but it's never too early to look into a crystal ball as to what might happen during the regular season.
There were noticeable changes upon seeing Carlos Quentin for the first time here at Spring Training.

The Bulls will really be short handed when they play host to the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. Taj Gibson joins Joakim Noah on the sidelines, as Gibson is still bothered by the effects of the concussion he suffered Saturday night.
The Bulls were nothing short of astounded that Joakim Noah was able to play with his injury for the last 3 weeks. That injury finally necessitated surgery which was performed successfully Thursday morning.
Joakim Noah had yet another double double Wednesday night but it likely will be his last for quite a while. The Bulls have announced that the 6'11" center will have surgery Thursday morning to repair damage in his right thumb.
Derrick Rose says he hardly slept Monday night and that he felt like an NFL player after a game. Rose took a pounding in the win over the Pacers and after literally limping out of the locker room went home and soaked in a tub for hours.
