Carlos Boozer's sprained ankle is improving but likely is a few days away from returning.
Carlos Boozer will not play tonight vs. the Atlanta Hawks. Boozer continues to get treatment on his injured sprained ankle and though the swelling has gone down he is not ready to get back on the court.
Carlos Boozer is officially being listed as day to day but the likelihood is that he will miss a couple of games (or more). Boozer had an MRI and it confirmed that the ankle is indeed sprained and the key will be how quick the swelling goes down.
Obviously, it's still plenty early and no one has even played a game but it's never too early to look into a crystal ball as to what might happen during the regular season.
