The man walked into a Chase Bank branch at 10 S. Dearborn St. at 8:42 a.m., implied he had a weapon and presented the teller with a note demanding cash. Ten minutes later, a man matching the robber's description held up the Citibank branch at 11 S. LaSalle St.
The robbery happened about 10:35 a.m. at the TCF Bank branch inside a Jewel-Osco at 1952 W. Galena Blvd. in Aurora, according to an Aurora police statement.
A male walked into the bank, demanded money and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
