The most recent shooting happened early Wednesday in the Edgewater neighborhood on the North Side. About 1:20 a.m., a 26-year-old man was driving southbound in the 5900 block of North Winthrop Avenue when a gunman opened fire from the sidewalk, according to Chicago Police.
About 8:30 p.m., the 17-year-old was standing on the sidewalk with two other people in the 5500 block of West Fulton Street when someone fired at them from an alley, police said.
Late Wednesday night, one man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting outside of a Logan Square neighborhood store on the Northwest Side, police said.
