White Sox Call Up RHP Tommy Kahnle, Place RHP Daniel Webb On DL
(CBS) The White Sox have recalled right-hander Tommy Kahnle from Triple-A Charlotte and placed right-hander Daniel Webb on the 15-day disabled list with right elbow flexor inflammation.
The 26-year-old Kahnle has a 3.00 ERA in nine innings at Triple-A this season. He has a career 4.41 ERA in 90 career big league appearances.
Webb threw a scoreless inning for Chicago in Thursday's loss. He has a 3.38 ERA at Charlotte this season as well.
