West Side Church Hosting Gun Turn-In Event; $100 In Exchange For Guns
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A church on Chicago's West Side is hoping gift cards will get residents to turn in guns this weekend.
Hope Community Church will give a $100 VISA gift card in exchange for a gun. If you have a BB Gun, air gun or replicas, they can also be turned in for $10 each.
No questions asked and no personal information is required.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 5900 West Iowa Street in the parking lot.
