Watch: Cubs Players Were So Stoked To See Their New Clubhouse
(CBS) Having been out West since mid-February at spring training and then for the first week of the regular season, Cubs players hadn't yet seen their brand new clubhouse that was constructed this offseason.
Until the wee hours of Monday morning.
Upon getting back from Arizona after a 7-3 win against the Diamondbacks in Sunday's series finale, the Cubs took a look at their new ballpark digs, which at 30,000 square feet it the second biggest in baseball, behind only the Yankees.
"The clubhouse is great," owner Tom Ricketts said on 670 The Score on Monday morning. "I'm sure it's the best in baseball. Everything a player could want."
The Cubs were stoked. And yes, the Bryzzo duo of Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo have lockers next to each other.

The Cubs host the Reds at 7:05 p.m. Monday in their home opener. Both teams are 5-1.
