Versteeg to Toronto
Another piece of the 2010 Stanley Cup champions will not be calling Madison St home next winter. 2009 Calder Cup finalist Kris Versteeg and Bill Sweatt were traded to Toronto Wednesday evening. In return, the Hawks got forwards Viktor Stalberg, Philippe Paradis and Christopher DiDomenico.
Versteeg had just completed his 3rd season with the Blackhawks, playing 79 games, scoring 20 goals, and 24 assists. In the playoffs, he had 6 goals and 8 assists.
