Vehicle's Window Shot Out During Rush Hour On Eisenhower

(STMW) -- All outbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway were temporarily closed in the western suburbs after a vehicle's window was shot out during Monday's evening rush hour.

A vehicle's window was shot out near 25th Avenue in west suburban Bellwood about 5:20 p.m., according to Illinois State Police. No injuries were reported.

Traffic was being diverted off the expressway at 25th Avenue, police said, but all lanes were reopened about 6:20 p.m.
