Cooler, cloudy day Tuesday in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) — Much cooler air is blowing in behind a cold front, setting the stage for a very comfortable and less humid stretch of weather.
North and northeast wind gusts over 30 miles per hour are causing high waves and dangerous conditions on area beaches, and a Beach Hazard Statement remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon.
Temperatures remain cooler than average for the rest of the week with dry conditions and periods of breezy winds.
A reinforcing rain-free cold front arrives Friday, keeping things comfortable for the Chicago Air and Sea show this weekend.
