Three Wounded In South Side Shootings
CHICAGO (STMW) -- Three males were wounded in separate South Side shootings since Wednesday afternoon.
The most recent shooting happened in the Avalon Park community when a man in his 30s was shot in the chest about 8:05 p.m. in the 8200 block of South Avalon Avenue, police said.
The man was in serious condition on the scene, but hospital information was not immediately available, authorities said.
Earlier, a man was wounded in a McKinley Park neighborhood shooting.
Two males on bicycles approached an 18-year-old man standing in the 3700 block of South Honore Street and one of the cyclists shot the man in the upper chest about 5:25 p.m., police said.
The shootings started about 2:40 p.m. when a male was shot in the left leg in the 3900 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue, police said. His age and condition were not immediately available.
