That's Excessive: Woman Buys Year's Worth Of Pumpkin Spice Lattes

By Mason Johnson

At a time when pumpkin spice lattes -- as tasty as they may be -- are being ridiculed more than ever, one woman proves that she has no shame.

Sherry Lynn Gustafson of Moline, Illinois really likes pumpkin spice lattes. Her love of them is so strong, that she can't contain her thirst on a seasonal basis.

She must have her pumpkin spice lattes year-round.

Which explains why she bought a year's worth of pumpkin spice cappuccino mix from her local Hy-Vee.

Gustafson told CBS Minnesota that she makes sure to buy the mix only a few boxes at a time, so store employees don't think she's crazy.

In total, Gustafson has 52 boxes to tide her over until next year.

What's been particularly shocking to pumpkin fans this past year is the fact that, according to FoodDabe.com's findings, Starbucks' pumpkin spice lattes has no pumpkin in it. Yes, you heard correct, no pumpkin (don't tell Morton, Illinois, pumpkin capital of the world).

With that said, it's unclear whether Hy-Vee's pumpkin spice cappuccino mix is as duplicitous as Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte.

Hopefully, for Gustafson's sake, it isn't.
