Woman Shot On Interstate 57 Exit Ramp In Morgan Park
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A female was shot while riding in a car on Interstate 57 in the Morgan Park neighborhood overnight.
Illinois State Police said troopers responded to an expressway shooting on the southbound exit ramp of I-57 at 111th street shortly before midnight Thursday night.
A preliminary investigation revealed a 19-year-old woman was the passenger in a car headed south on I-57, when someone in another vehicle started shooting at them on the exit ramp.
The victims' vehicle crashed into another car, and the driver fled the scene. The female passenger suffered minor injuries, and was taken to the hospital.

The exit ramp was closed until about 4:15 a.m. as police investigated.
