Robbers Smash, Grab Along Lincoln Park Strip
(CBS) -- Chicago Police say robbers broke into a handful of businesses overnight in Lincoln Park.
The glass front doors were smashed to bits.
Gurco Bautista, the owner of Angela's Burrito Style in the 2500 block of North Clark, says robbers didn't get away with too much cash -- only about $140.
Whoever broke in there walked out with the cash register.
Bautista says he had to stay closed through lunch Thursday because of the mess from the break-in. He estimates he lost a few hundred dollars in lunchtime trade.
