Ray Rice Video: Fox Commentators Blame Obama, Women

CHICAGO (CBS)  -- After apparently viewing the video of  Ray Rice knocking out his fiancee in an elevator for the first time, the Baltimore Ravens and the NFL made Rice an ex-NFL footballer.

In the video, Janay Palmer falls in a heap after the punch and appears to be unconscious  for several minutes after Mr. Rice drags her from the elevator and leaves her lying in front of the door.

It is clear that Mr. Rice is the only one responsible for his horrific actions that day.

Wait ...

Not according to some of the on-air talent at Fox News.

Andrea Tantaros quickly pointed the finger at President Obama's failed leadership.

"I want to know, where is the President on this one?" Tantaros asked on the show "Outnumbered."

"My question is — and not to bring it back to politics but — this is a White House that seems to bring up a 'war on women' every other week. A White House that's very concerned about the NFL, concussions, etc., prescription drugs in locker rooms," she said.

Not to bring it back to politics ...

Anyway, Tantaros later explained on Twitter that Mr. Obama cannot simply pick and choose the issues he finds important when it comes to the NFL.

However, that's just the same stale Fox narrative about Mr. Obama.

More stunning is an exchange today between Fox misogynists  Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocey.

In 30 seconds, these two guys denigrated Palmer, Beyonce and Rihanna before insulting women everywhere.

In the end, the advice to females?

"I think the message is take the stairs," Kilmeade said.

Doocey then offered this advice to anybody considering doing anything violent in an elevator.

"The message is, when you are in an elevator, there is a camera," he said.

The "message", boys, is much, much, much more obvious.

Inserting politics and blaming victims in this case is vile; the only thing worse is what started it all.
