Suspect Tries To Break Into ATM In Portage Park Using Blow Torch
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A person tried to break into a Bank of America ATM in Portage Park using a blow torch Monday morning.
Police said the offender was inside a GMC SUV, in the 4100 block of North Cicero Avenue just before 2 a.m., during the unsuccessful attempt to break into the ATM at the drive-thru.
The SUV fled the scene after damaging the ATM with a charred mark.
No arrests have been made.
