Team Of Young Football Players From Portage, Indiana Wins National Pop Warner Pee Wee Championship
ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS) -- A group of 8- to 10-year-old football players from Portage, Indiana have won the National Pop Warner Championship in the Junior Pee Wee Division.
The Portage Indians beat the Westchase Colts from Tampa 36-12 in the national championship game on Friday.
The Pop Warner Super Bowl is composed of 64 football teams that earned a spot in the nationals. They compete across nine age and weight brackets.
The game was played in Orlando, Florida.
