CHICAGO (STMW) -- Police are cautioning South Side residents after three armed robberies in the Bronzeville neighborhood over the last two weeks.

Two men with a handgun have walked up to people and taken their property, according to a community alert from Wentworth District Chicago Police.

The robberies happened:

–April 6, about 4 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Prairie Avenue;

–April 12, about 11:30 a.m. in the 3400 block of South Michigan Avenue; and

–April 18, about 5:15 a.m. in the 3100 block of South King Drive.

One of the robbers is described as a black man with a dark complexion, between 18 and 25 years old, standing 6-feet tall and weighing between 160 and 210 pounds. He had short hair, a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

The other man is 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-9 black man with a medium complexion, weighing between 130 and 220 pounds, police said. He had dreadlocks, a dark-colored hoodie and blue jeans.
