Police Searching For Driver Who Hit And Killed Woman On South Side
(CBS) -- Chicago Police are searching for the driver of a van that fatally struck a woman in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood last week.
Police say a light colored 1999-2003 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, possible tan, hit the 72-year-old woman as she was crossing the street in the 6400 block of South Kedzie on Jan. 19. The driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim, police said.
The minivan was seen with windshield damage to the upper passenger side and there may be damage to the passenger side headlight.
