Police: 1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Humbolt Park Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person was killed and another wounded in a shooting Tuesday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, according to Chicago Police.
They were outside in the 1000 block of North Harding at 12:04 p.m. when a male approached from the lot, fired shots and ran away, police said.
A male victim was shot in the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His age wasn't immediately known.
A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Norwegian American Hospital.
