Police: 1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Humboldt Park Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot and another was wounded while sitting in a vehicle early Sunday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood, police said.
Two men were sitting in a parked vehicle in the 1100 block of North Mozart Street when shots were fired at 2:15 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
A 33-year-old man was shot in the head and was dead at the scene, Alfaro said. A 21-year-old man was taken in "stable" condition to Mount Sinai Hospital with gunshot wounds to the left shoulder and buttocks.
No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
