One Win Away

Just one win away from the Finals and just five wins away from hoisting Lord Stanley's Cup. That's the story after the Hawks 3-2 exiting overtime win over the Sharks. Dustin Byfuglien was Johney on the spot again taking a pass from Dave Bolland to score the game winner and turning the United Center in a mosh pit.  For Byfuglien it was his 7th goal in the playoffs and each one has been bigger then the last.

It's hard to tell who is the hawks MVP in this series. Is it Buff who has scored numerous times or is it Antii Niemi who has stood on his head in every game? He had 44 more saves Friday night but some how wasn't even one of the top three stars of the game. And then there's Jonathan Towes who had assists on two of the goals Friday and is now the owner of the franchise record for points in consecutive games in the playoffs (12 straight).

Patrick Sharp and Dave Bolland had the other goals Friday as the Hawks now find themselves with a three games to none lead in this series. And if you saw the Sharks skate off the ice and then later on in their locker room you saw the dejection on their faces. It sure adds up to the conclusion that this series will end on Sunday.
