CPD Officer Injured In Hit-And-Run; 2 People In Custody
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A Chicago police officer was injured in a hit-and-run in the Longwood Manor neighborhood.
The incident took place near 98th and Wallace when officers were conducting a traffic stop on a black Dodge Charger.
The driver accelerated and hit an officer and then drove off and crashed into a squad car near 76th and Lowe.
Two people were taken into custody and a weapon was recovered.
The officer is in good condition.
