Moebius Syndrome

It's a disorder that's so misunderstood that its victims are often mistaken for being unfriendly or even rude, but it's something they can't help. Moebius Syndrome is caused when two particular facial nerves stop working properly, preventing people who have it from smiling, frowning, blinking or making other facial expressions.

You can learn more about the condition from the website for the Moebius Syndrome Foundation and the website for Many Faces Of Moebius Syndrome.
