Metra train hits bicyclist in Schaumburg, Illinois
A bicyclist was hit by a Metra train in suburban Schaumburg, Illinois, on Thursday morning.
Police said the 37-year-old man was riding a bike when he was hit by the train around 7:20 a.m.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
Metra Milwaukee West Line Outbound train service was stopped, but inbound train service has resumed with delays.
