Man Shot To Death On South Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot to death in the South Side Chatham neighborhood Friday night, police said.
Clifton Barney, 17, of the 7800 block of South Evans Avenue, was pronounced dead at the scene at 8 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
The man was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in the in the 7700 block of South Langley Avenue at 7:24 p.m., police said.
A male exited a light colored vehicle and fired shots before fleeing the scene, police said.
No one was in custody as Area South detectives were investigating.
