Man killed in shooting in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing community
A man was shot and killed Sunday night in Chicago's Greater Grand Crossing community.
Police said at 9:39 p.m., the 26-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 7000 block of South Eberhart Avenue when he was shot multiple times.
The man was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one was in custody Monday morning. Wentworth Area detectives were investigating.
