Man Critically Wounded In South Chicago Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 41-year-old man was critically wounded in a shooting in the South Side South Chicago neighborhood Sunday afternoon.
The shooting occurred about 2:10 p.m. in the 8300 block of South Burnham Avenue, according to police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety.
The 41-year-old victim suffered a gunshot to the back and was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Baety said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
