Let There be Light… and Baseball
Just your typical 18-minute delay for power outage here at Wrigley Wednesday night. The Cubs have had that happen twice before--both times in 2003. As of this post, the lights are back on at the ballpark but the surrounding neighborhood seems to still be without power.
Kind of the same story with the Cubs offense tonight... just 2 for 10 with runners in scoring position in the first three innings although Derrek Lee has hit safely in his last five at-bats dating back to Tuesday night.
