Lake Shore Drive Closure Begins Today
CHICAGO (CBS)--Construction starts on lower Lake Shore Drive today, with two of the four southbound traffic lanes closed starting at 8 a.m.
Structural repairs are being made to the west side of the bridge, while crews also complete a sidewalk repair project.
The closure is expected to extend into the summer.
