Keith wins Norris Trophy

So who was the NHL's top defenseman? Duncan Keith, he deserved to win the Norris Trophy with the talent he added to the Blackhawks this season. Los Angeles' Drew Doughty and Washington's Mike Green were also nominated for the award at the NHL Awards ceremony in Las Vegas.. This will be just one more achievement Keith can add to this years trophies, with his Olympic Gold and Stanley Cup victory.
Duncan made a career-high 69 points, which was second among defenders. He was second to Green in points and assists and made 14 goals and 55 assists.
Duncan Keith is now the 4th Blackhawks defenseman to win the Norris Trophy, first since 1996. The other Norris Trophy winners with the Blackhawks are three-time winner Pierre Pilote (1963, 1964, 1965), two-time winner Chris Chelios (1993, 1996), and Doug Wilson (1982).
