Indigenous People's Day: Modern Native American art exhibit opens in Aurora

CHICAGO (CBS)-- Monday is Indigenous People's Day and Aurora University's Schingoethe Center is celebrating with a new exhibit. 

You can check out the first traveling Exhibition of Modern Native-American Art, which is now open. CBS 2's Marissa Perlman visited the exhibit for an inside look.

She said the collection features more than 50 different pieces. 

"It excites me to be able to raise the visibility of our museum," Auroa University President Dr. Rivera Mills, said.
