As vaccines for COVID-19 are rolled out across Illinois, many are struggling to get their first doses. Some immigrants and members of minority communities face even greater roadblocks to vaccination because of language barriers, issues getting vaccine appointments and getting to those appointments, and inaccurate and inconsistent information about vaccines. CBS 2 is committed to keeping the public informed, holding officials accountable and investigating inequitable vaccine distribution as this unprecedented vaccination effort takes place.

We can only tell these stories with your help. If you're an undocumented person or an immigrant who is struggling to get vaccinated against COVID-19, we want to hear from you. Your safety is paramount to us, and we will never share your identity without your permission.

If you have privacy concerns, you can contact us via Signal. Signal is a more secure way to communicate via your mobile phone. You can easily download the free app in your app store.

Signal is an encrypted messaging service where you can make calls and send messages and files from your phone. It protects your chats by encrypting all messages (which you can also set to automatically disappear after a certain time limit). This means only the individuals sending and receiving the messages can have access to their contents because they cannot be intercepted through WiFi.
