At least 8 vehicles involved in two separate crashes on I-294 near 47th Street
At least eight vehicles were involved in a crash on I-294 near 47th Street on Friday morning.
Just before 5:45 a.m., Illinois State Police responded to the crash involving eight vehicles blocking two lanes. ISP said troopers found two separate crashes, one involving six cars and the second involving two cars.
No injuries were reported.
Five cars required towing.
Kris Habermehl reccomends taking LaGrange Road to Ogden Avenue to enter northbound I-294 and avoid the backups.
