High waves, dangerous conditions along Chicago's lakefront Wednesday
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A Beach Hazards Statement is in effect Wednesday.
High waves, 3 to 6 feet, and dangerous currents are expected throughout Cook County beaches.
The Beach Hazards Statement will remain in effect through the afternoon.
Swimming conditions could by life threatening.
