Girl, 17, Shot in Chicago Lawn
(STMW) -- A teenage girl was shot early Sunday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The 17-year-old was walking on a sidewalk about 2:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of South Maplewood when she heard gunshots and felt pain, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital with a graze wound to the head and was in good condition, Alfaro said.
