Forbes Values Bears At $2.45 Billion
(CBS) Forbes estimates the Bears' worth at $2.45 billion, the eighth-highest in the NFL, in its annual valuation that was released Monday.
The Bears were valued at $1.25 billion in June 2014 by Forbes, with the current number now reflecting the financial giant that the NFL is.
The Cowboys were valued at $4.0 billion, the highest in the NFL. The Patriots were second at $3.2 billion. The Bears' biggest rival, the Packers, were 10th on the list, valued at $1.95 billion. Every NFL team is worth at least $1.4 billion, according to Forbes.
The average NFL team is worth $1.97 billion, which is a 38 percent increase over 2014, Forbes reported.
