Five People Overdose At Home In Lake Villa
(CBS) -- Five people overdosed at a home in Lake Villa on Saturday evening, and sheriff deputies used a dose of Naloxone to revive two of the residents who were found to be unresponsive.
At 11 p.m., when deputies arrived at a residence in the 39300 block of North Lake Avenue, they located five adults who appeared to be suffering from an overdose, police said.
Two of the individuals were found to be unconscious and unresponsive. Sheriff's deputies administered a dose of Naloxone.
Upon receiving the Naloxone, both regained consciousness.
The other three individuals were conscious, but incoherent.
All five were transported via ambulance to an area hospital, where they are expected to live, police said.
Evidence was located at the scene consistent with drug use.
