Emanuel Casts Ballot, Encourages Early Voting

CHICAGO (CBS) - Rahm Emanuel cast his ballot for the November general election on Monday at the Chicago Board of Elections, according to a release.

Early voting began Monday at three polling places across the city. Emanuel is encouraging Chicagoans to vote early for this critical election. More polling places will open on Tuesday.

"All Chicagoans concerned about the city's future should get out and vote in the November 2nd election," said Emanuel. "The Board of Elections has made it convenient for all voters to participate by allowing you to vote any day between now and Election Day, and I encourage city residents to take advantage of early vote."
