Eagles To Hire Bears' College Scouting Director
(CBS) After a busy draft weekend and a continued overhaul of the roster, the Bears are now on the market to fill a key personnel department position.
The Eagles have hired Bears college scouting director Joe Douglas to run their entire scouting department, according to multiple reports. The promotion for Douglas is expected to be announced by Philadelphia soon, perhaps as soon as Monday afternoon. He will oversee the Eagles' pro and college scouting departments.
Douglas had been in his position with the Bears for one season after working for the Ravens for the previous 15-plus years.
The Bears are expected to fill their college scouting director position internally, the Tribune's Brad Biggs reported.
