Deep In Big WikiLeak Is A Bit Of Chicago

CHICAGO (WBBM) - Some Chicago-related information was found in some of the documents recently leaked by Wikileaks.

Ahmed Wali Karzai, the powerful half brother of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, really loves Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood.

The Chicago Tribune reports that, during meetings with American officials in September 2009 and February 2010, Ahmed Wali Karzai, talked about running the Helmand restaurant at 3201 N. Halsted St. near Wrigley Field.

The Karzais owned the restaurant and Ahmed Wali ran it. The restaurant has since closed.

The whistleblower website WikiLeaks released more than 250,000 classified State Department documents on Sunday.
