CHICAGO (CBS) -- If you want to hit the beach this summer, the CTA offers cheap day-pass options so you can avoid paying to park at the lakefront.

Single-day unlimited ride passes are just $5 year-round.

For those of you with extended travel plans, 3-day unlimited ride passes are $15, weeklong unlimited ride passes are $20, and 30-day unlimited ride passes are $75.

Starting Sunday, buses will go all the way to the beach.
